Introduction
The proposed force field analysis is crucial in analyzing the complex problems that occur in our community. This tool will be in a position to frame the problems in the meeting in terms of pressures or factors, which we believe will support status quo that is, the restraining forces together with those factors that will support the change in desired direction that is, driving forces. Therefore, this imperative tool for managing change will help in the identification of the factors, which we must address and monitor if the meeting desired change is going to be successful.
The problem
Our current problem is the social vices that the entire community experiences hence we need to effectively bring the desired change that will ensure that this problem does not continue to affect the morals of our generation and that of the upcoming generations.
Goal
The main goal is to increase communication and commitment from the whole R&D community in addressing the community problem. Thus, the goal of our meeting is to prevent the community members and especially the younger generation from being exploited by various social norms that are among the complex problems affecting our community through increasing communication and commitment of our community members.
Driving forces
There are numerous factors which will support the change we require in desired direction. The forces to consider in this case include the society norms or institutional policies, organizational or social trends, organizational structures, and the regulations. These helping forces are the ones that when analyzed in the meeting will bring the desired change.
Hindering forces
However, there are various pressures or factors that resist our proposed change in the meeting and our community hence maintain status quo. These hindering factors include the rigid traditions, community members’ attitudes, modern social trends, and lack of unity and cooperation among community members. For that reason, these are the pressures that we need to consider since they can hinder the proposed effectual method for change.
Force field analysis chart
The following chart shows the analysis chart that we will be using to analyze the complex problems in the meeting.
Goal or the proposed change: Creating increased involvement at all the levels.
