The mission statement is a very important element of an organization. The Mission statement informs about the company, its basic purpose and it elucidates why does the company exists. Mission statement defines a path that company need to follow. In this paper, we would look at several aspects of the mission statement and its relevance.
A good mission statement should deliver complete information about the company and it should communicate that how the company is distinctive from the other companies. A mission statement impacts the existing clients of a company and the reason behind it is that they may get the answer of their curiosity that why should they subscribe the services of the company or purchase the products of that company.
Secondly, it affects the employees of the company as they get to know what company thinks about them and also what should they tell others about the company if enquired. The mission statement further affects the prospective clients and investors of a company as it provides a complete information them about the company, its exclusivity, ability to make profits and its future plans.
I prefer a good mission statement for my company because of the reasons abovementioned. I have been benefitted by using the personal statement for my company in the sense that I have found several new investors for my company and also in retaining the old clients of my company. I also found the additional benefits of the mission statement that in any business meeting I need not to repeat the purposes of my company several times and the mission statement of my company provides complete information about my company.
