Introduction
The Mixed Martial Art (MMA) is new term for combat performed sport. MMA ages back to the Olympics of ancient Greece. The sport has been performed for thousands years, even before the Olympics started. The MMA fights started as unarmed combat performed as a sport known as pankration a Greek words pank and kratos which means all powerful. In Greek had only two rules, the competitors were not allowed to eye gouge and bite? Since the dawn of man fighting as a sport or prize has been a part of culture and society. The desire of man to become better at combat sports has led to growth of Martial arts. Therefore, evolving of societies and cultures leads to growth and development of new and different styles of fighting. All traditional, Martial arts disciplines and forms have had their own mixing of other encouragements over time, as different standards, methodologies, and application of instruction which take a role in styles changing to make new changes.
Ancient Greek pankration teachings spread to India, where Alexander the Great was appreciated and his habit of recruiting athletes as soldiers since they had strength and combat knowledge. The knowledge spreads more even in China where Buddhist monk traveled to pick up on aspects of pankration. These spreading of pankration, causes establishment of Asian Martial arts which included karate and kung fu martial arts.
As martial arts spread, the ideas of mixed-style competitions get mixed up. Often an expert of one martial art challenged an expert of a different one for ultimate bragging rights. For several years these mixed-style competitions took place worldwide, finally gaining intense popularity in the United States. Competitors learned from their opponents and realized that they must study any combative art form, in order to become a well-rounded fighter which could give them superiority in the game.
Early life
Emelianenko is Russian politician who was a retired heavyweight was mixed martial artist and judoka. He was born in Rubeshnoe, Lugansk region Ukraine in the year in 1976. His mother was called Olga Feodorovne, she was a school teacher and his father, Vladimir Alexandrovich, was a gas-electric welder. Emelianeko has two brothers who were younger than him, Aleksander Emelianeko was known as a mixed martial art fighter and the younger brother Ivan, and a single sister by the name Marina.
MMA career and achievements
His passion for sport in wrestling began with self-defense and judo, where he stated his training under Gavrilov V.I. he later progressed into sport group a year later, and trained under Voronov V.M. later in 1991 he entered the professional collage after finishing school. In the year 1994 he topped it with a red diploma. Between the year 1995 and 1997 he served his country in Russian army where he continued to participate and pay attention in sports. During the year 1999 he decided to have a family where got married; his wife is called Oksana.in the year 1999 in the family, their got their first daughter by a name Masha. In the 1997, Saint Petersburg he carried off Master of Sports ion self-defense. Early 1997, he won an international tournament (Kursk) and he was later promoted to be a Master of Sports in judo.
During the year 1998, he was declared as international Russia Master of Sport in self-defense and a first place in “A” league team international tournament in Moscow. In 1998 at Russia championship in judo he became the Russia record holder and a bronze medalist. In Russia armed forces he captured a title in his own weight and awarded a silver medalist in an absolute weight.
Under the training of Michkov A.V. in 2000, he began to make a careful study of punches techniques. In the same he gained the third place in Russia championship in self-defense, and participated in fight under version and achieved high results. Back in the year 2001, he holds the world wrestling record in a heavy weighting. In the year 2002, he become the champion in absolute weight a field that he dominated, later he took most prestige version. He participated in heavy weighting sports in Salonika and Greece where he won the Russia championship in a fighting self-defense. He was the captain of the national team, which won in the first place. These result in his good participation in the MMA world championship in fighting self-defense. He got title in absolute weight. In 2003, after the competition competitor from Holland Sam Shilt, and Hiz Hiring from USA, he had wrestling with Nigerian Antonio Rodrigo where Fedor gained champion title.
His life now, since he quit MMA
After several sequential lose, Emelianenko’s interpreter stated Emelianenko deserve a retirement during The MMA Hour before participating in Werdum fighting. Since Emelianeko was getting older and has several blows and injuries accumulated on the body. Following his third loss in a row, Emelianenko was apparently released from Strike force. He returned to his native land; however even after retirement he remains to be Russian MMA Union president. Towards the end of his mixed martial arts career he entered into politics where he served a five-year term as a deputy of the Belgorod Region in October 10, 2010under united Russia political party. Emelianeko became the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry, in the year 2012.
