Dear Ms. Boyer-Parker,
We regret to inform you that refunding of $400, the cost of your prescription reading classes, cannot be honored. After a review of your complaints, the management has decided to deny your request as per our terms and conditions which apply to every client.
According to our terms and conditions, the management is not liable for any passenger’s belongings. The air hostess kindly requested all passengers to be in charge of their belongings before passengers began to alight from the aircraft. This is a normal routine; we try as much as possible to help our clients’ safeguard their belongings, hence the reason of our announcement before alighting of the passengers. The airline never knows whether clients will be returning to their seats or may decide to shit to another place or they have reached their destination, hence, when the cleaning crew comes around, they take anything that is not placed as requirement and treat it as dirt or lost and found according to protocol. Also it may have been left by the cleaning crew the place it was but the boarding passengers one of them may have taken it from where you left. However we trying to do all that is in our capabilities to find your prescription reading glasses through any means available to us, if we will come across them will be highly delighted to return them back to your possession. Considering this reasons, we are deeply sorry for your loss as American Southern Airline (ASA). We are trying as much as we can to avoid such incidences in the foreseeable future.
We advise you to accept the loss and look for any available alternative.
Sincerely,
The Management
American Southern Airline (ASA)
