There are various types of Code of ethics such as codes for individuals, professionals, corporations etc. All of them have their particular features, but they are aimed at reflection the values and standards of behavior accepted by different subjects. The formats and style of Code of ethics of organizations are more official than others. For the purpose of this assignment it is necessary to formulate my own Code of ethics representing my personal principles that I apply to situations of my daily life.
It is important to mention that individual rules of behavior are largely shaped by standards currently existing in society. At the same time my personal attitude to environment plays crucial role that affirms the fact that different people have different visions. It is the matter of priorities. On the basis of studied materials through the course I formulated my own Code of ethics which looks as following.
Freedom I am independent enough to act upon my own principles and have courage to articulate ideas which may different from the opinions of majority. I like communicating with people, at the same time I feel myself free from bonds of relationships that may split my personality.
Fairness When I see someone is discriminated or unfairly abused I will always support this person protecting her or him. I always judge people on the basis of their deeds, not words.
Honesty I try to be always honest with myself and people around me. It is better to tell the truth than to lie. As the lie become finally evident.
Trust I am a person to be relied on. I always follow my promises and fulfill my obligations. It is important for me to be surrounded by friends whom I can trust.
Kindness I am kind person as it helps my soul to be clean from negative feelings. I always help people in need.
