The increase in global technology and inventions have facilitated research on materials that will enable industries and people increase data storage capacities. These technological inventions have resulted to generation of magnetic systems of data recording densities and storage beyond the present day’s computers. The continuous research on more usable and flexible computers have resulted to evolution of the Next Computer generation. This paper will vividly present a state –of- the art research and comprehensive report on how current computer aided, programs and tools will drastically change in terms of physical properties and function ability.
Next generation of computers will be having modern physical properties such as; tiny shapes, light in weight. Other modifications that use Carbon “nanoantennae” which shall facilitated data storage and increase the standards of usability up to one hundred times that of the present computers. The future computers will also use circumvent disk storage capacities modified and imposed on magnetic systems of recording materials (Mootoka 8). The result from this, therefore, implies that the next generation of computers will mainly focus on consumer activities such as commercial, entertainments, content delivery and more changing forms of human-computer interactions. These computers will intend to increase wider consumer choice and make work easier. Information that is relating to business communication will be communicated smoothly with no obstacles. Besides this, people will also be communicating in a very decent way transforming the world into a global village (Motooka 21).
Computer manufacturers are constantly focusing on new modifications that shall fit the next generation computers. For instance, IBM is moving away from the present computers contain icons to represent documents to world’s modified artifacts. These artifacts are more realistic and increase computer speed in functioning, facilitate Computer Aided Designs (CAD) and reduce the weight make them portable. The same modifications are in the next generation of computers. Carbon Nonatubes (CNT), will be included next generation of computers to replace silicon in the current computers. These tubes will facilitate better physical appearance and make them 100 times much better.
Further modifications shall are made and emphasized whereby the new technology proposes use of neuro-morphic chips (Yungai 31). These chips are processors inbuilt in computers substituting current central processing units. Neuromorphic chips will be faster since they shall be in logical neural networks that facilitate and enhance faster functioning. Therefore, the speed of computers will be boosted to many semi-intelligent called AI systems that when used more and faster technological navigation will be easier. The next generation of computers, therefore, shall also be slim to make computing more understandable, and information processing better compared to current ones. This slim shape will make the computers similar to the phone and smaller in shape increasing the easiness of portability and access of online communications (Yungai 53).
About the screen size and outlook, next computer generation will consist of modern touch screen that is used without it being fixed to wall sockets. The screens will be used together with mounted rechargeable batteries making them more protective from excessive current that exposes current ones to electro-circuit vulnerabilities.
The next computer generation shall have extra features on the screens such as 3D camera that enables audio-visual communications amongst people. So no matter the distance an individual who shall use a computer will communicate with another one far away while seeing each other. The HD displays will be fully equipped in them, and the proposed console repair systems will facilitate self-repair. There will also be a self- virus and pyre removal. The owner will, therefore, reduce costs of installing extra devices related to security and maintenance.
The next computer generation shall also contain installed Quantum D-waves that are made specifically for computing (Fifty Generation Computer Systems 31). Typically, the waves installed into hard drives with metal loops of niobium metal and tiny electrical current make them self-sensitive to on and of the mode. The computers, therefore, will be automatic. The PC s will be built in 20in touch screens having a battery and docking slot station. The Next-Gen computers will, therefore, be self-initiated and may require little attention from people.
Computer manufacturing companies like IBM and Apple are greatly advancing in manifesting their desktop and lap computer to contain features similar to Next-GEN computers. Thereby, will enable them suitably compete with the new ones. These companies propose also to make portable, smaller and fast functioning computers. The coming generation of computers will be like robots in working because they shall be suited to work in any environment dictated by users. To some extent great innovation will lead to manufacture of portable computers like smart phones enabling their usage anywhere. The shape, therefore, will reduce from bigger and heavy ones.
In addition, the coming generation of computers will have features like internal backups, modems that shall bell inbuilt to facilitate online work and browsing (Mootoka 17). CD drives and motherboards are to be modernized. Secondary features like ROM, RAM and other devices facilitating memory will be of high capacity and modernized. Other peripheral devices such as mouse keyboard and microphone may be inbuilt or not necessary in some as they will contain different ways of functioning other than using the keyboard and mouse externally. The speed of Next generation of computers will be very high as compared to the present. The smaller databases proposed on laptops, netbooks, and other computer gadgets will be enabled to hold large data amount.
The next generation of computers will be using superconductors that enhance artificial intelligence realer and enable parallel processing of information systems. This system has facilitated the manufacturers to research more how to integrate a number of Central Processing Units into one whole CPU that can speed up computation and voice recognition. The voice recognition in Next Gen computers will facilitate computer taking dictations and comprehending of the human voice. The essence will lead to the coming computers to respond to language universally. The coming computers, therefore, will reduce the task of people typing since it will get commands from the speaker. The user only speaks to it, and it writes. Hence, it will reduce the burden and time spent in typing. The next computers will be made in a way that they are organized to enable easy recognition of commands to the users. Suggestions are that the computers will train the learners on computer skills.
In conclusion, therefore, the next generation of computers will lead to the evolution of more portable, right shaped and sized computers. The computers shall also be portable since they will be small and easy to carry. The mode of usability will be suitable to also environments depending with the user. They will be more durable and contain buttons that functions will be clearly marked to enable users acquire information.
