Introduction
Since the creation the Hindus has acknowledge Brahman as their only absolute God. They believe that he is a mysterious being therefore is given the highest level as the maker and protector of the entire creation. Hindus classify their gods in trinity, having Brahman in the first position followed by Vishnu and lastly Shiva. Brahman being the creator, Vishnu second in the trinity ply the role of the preserve of the Hindu people while Shiva is referred to as a destroyer of the universe so as to give rise a renewal when it comes to an end of given cycle of time. Hinduism treasures symbols as they play a fundamental role in their religion. Om or rather Aum is among the essential and holy syllable the Brahman. It’s a symbol to stand for absolute.
In the Hindus faith and religion prayer is referred to as the only way to communicate with their supreme gods. The main purposes of prayers are for petitioning, acting as another form of worship to god, it’s a best way to praise the gods and also a proper channel to which the Hindus confess of the deeds. The Hindus religion got quite a number of prayers depending on the occasions. Their prayers are known as Prārthana which is farther classified into Mānasika, Vācika and kāyika which means mental, verbal and physical respectively
Hinduism like any other religion has got their on basic belief. These include the authority or powers given to Vedas and the priest of Brahman. Hinduism believes in the existence of a specific soul whose role is to transmigrate from one individual to another during their death thus reincarnation. The also do belief that Karma laws are there determine a person’s destiny at the present life and after life.
