The non-traditional performance strategies followed by the organizations in order to increase the performance and efficiency of the employees are favorable for the organizations as some of these strategies are very effective. On analyzing the above-mentioned non-financial strategies, it is observed that some strategies like limiting the working hours, providing play area, and developing small teams are very beneficial for the organizations. These strategies help in increasing the efficiency and performance of the employees. Such activities help in providing satisfaction and relaxation to the employees who help them in increasing their desire to work.
In addition to it, some of the strategies like allowing the employees to take a nap are not very beneficial it is not a reliable strategy to influence the performance. It is not even highly practiced in most of the organizations because it can deviate the minds of the employees from work. Though some researchers believe that there is a significant correlation between well-rested and high-performance level, it is more important to adopt those strategies that allow the employees to work for specific hours. Working for specific hours allow the employees to work take proper rest and enjoy their social life, which is equally important for high performance. If the organizations just provide the employees to take rest for some time and work again, it may not improve their efficiency as expected. In addition to it, this practice is not followed by most of the firms. Therefore, the employees that are used to take naps in the working hours may find it difficult to adjust in other firms.
