Introduction:
At least for once in life, everyone has had a chance to deal with some kind of health complications. Some have had to deal with diseases like heart attack, malaria, cancer, high blood pressure, obesity, cold, pneumonia and many more. Majority of the people do not even know that they have issues concerning their health until may be, something which brings those complications to their attention happens to them. Nutritional complications are caused by the types of food people eat. A good example of nutrition complication is obesity. This paper analyzes and explores obesity as a health nutritional complication, its goals when curbing it, actions that can be taken when implementing each goal, difficulties which can be encountered when implementing those goals, the outcome or success, the evidence of the objectives’ effectiveness when identifying the needs and also, the evaluation of potential risks in health which may come out as a result of poor implementation.
I decided to take a careful look at my health, only to realize that I had some health issues. I was forty pounds extra and that turned out to be my health issue. My plan to salvage my health was a simple one; I realized that if I made plans to be health and lose weight it could be too complicated since it could be very discouraging and difficult to stick to. The objectives I laid for my health were very significant. The initial part of my plan dealt with both the type and quantity of foods which I consumed daily. Just like any other person, foods were my biggest problem. The next part dealt with exercises which I planned to use in order to lose weight. The last part dealt with vitamins. Everyone is aware that the biggest part of health issues is the type of food which they eat. This happens as a result of people not being in position to eat healthy and some of them rely on stopping by the nearest fast food restaurants and consume whatever food that is available on the menu regardless to its healthy conditions as long as they get rid of hunger.
Most people have children but due to the fact that sometimes they are too tired to cook anything, they opt for fast foods for their children but sometimes the same foods causes health complications like obesity to children or even the parents themselves. The current generation could be a blessed one having the relatively abundant varieties which can enable them to make choices. However, the choices made may sometimes influence the ways of people’s lives and the main issue is how to rectify the mistakes. I found myself in this situation and made a mistake of inadequately controlling what I ate and also, I didn’t know how to utilize all the energy derived from foods as a result of sedentary lifestyles that most of all the youths absorb today. As a result of my suffering from obesity, I am fighting back to ensure my energy is not lost.
Obesity is known to be a condition which natural energy reserve which is stored in fatty tissues of humans and also other mammals- is increased to the point where it’s associated with some conditions or increased mortality. Even though obesity is an individual clinical condition, it’s viewed as a serious growing problem. The excessive body weight has led to predisposing various diseases like cardiovascular diseases, sleep apnea, diabetes mellitus type two and osteoarthritis. Obesity is known in relative or absolute terms. In the practical settings obesity is evaluated typically in complete terms by measuring the Body Mass Index (BMI) but also measured in terms of the distribution through the waist- hip or waist circumference ratio measurements. Using the Body Mass Index categories, I found myself into the obese range. The BMI categories include the underweight which is eighteen point five, normal weight which is eighteen point five to twenty four point nine, overweight which is twenty to twenty nine point nine and obesity Body Mass Index of thirty and above.
Mypyramid.gov indicates that there is imbalance state in nutrition intake and when considering the physical activities, it’s satisfactory but inadequate. Even though reducing the body weight is a big deal to some, its maintenance is extremely a difficult task. Regular practice of balanced diet and physical exercises must be enough to maintain the weight lifelong. During physical exercises and food intake activities, one should do more exercise or minimize intake of carbohydrates. If somebody is overweight, he must incorporate physical exercise into his or her lifestyle. This doesn’t have to be drastic but it could be simple in increasing normal body activities. Household chores like washing or raking leaves are great exercise. Sports are excellent exercises as well. One should start the exercise slowly and gradually to ensure that the body weight is reduced to normal. To start a nutrition plan and exercise is not, one may before succeeding. Always never give up and you should try and try again. The following are some of the healthy eating tips: sugars, limits fats and sodium. Food should not be used for comfort but replace it with a different activity like going for a walk. We should reward ourselves for any kind of success with activities such as buying a music CD, watching the favorite movie or taking the afternoon off from work. This perseverance and dedication will pay back for a happier and healthier lifestyle.

Conclusion:
The Health Diet Pyramid (HDP) is used by patients who are obese/ overweight or those with hypertension, diabetes and lipid disorders. Overweight or obese serve sizes of smaller portion to lower calorie intake. Many people finish all food on the plate and serve small portions on meals which help them to lower their calorie intake. We should choose foods which are lower in added sugar and fats more especially drinks. Eat the recommended fruit, whole grains products and vegetables to promote satiety. Patients with hypertension, lipid disorder, diabetes and other chronic diseases should be told to lose weight if they are obese or overweight. The Healthy Diet Pyramid/Dietary Guidelines and RDAs are based tools evidence that one can use to perform quick assessment and to give advice to the patients on the dietary modification (Lee, B. 2008)
