Therefore, the aim of this paper is to suggest the healing and almost miraculous effects that pet always have on people.
Most people are delighted with observing the animals at the zoo, in nature, or on the beautiful photos. However, living with a funny creature, whose language you do not understand, is a very different experience. Since most people prefer cats and dogs to exotic animals, this paper will provide some undeniable benefits, the animals bring to people living nearby.
First. Animals make people display the best qualities. People become more patient, when the kitten confuses their curtains with a rock and climbs on it leaving scary holes and scratches on the curtain`s cloth. In addition, very often people treat their home pets much better than even their close relatives.
Second. Animals teach people understanding. In fact, a cat or a dog is the best psychotherapist one could ever find. Though being unable to speak like people do, cats and dogs always know when people are in need of their support. Moreover, people can always grab their pets and feel how their warm and soft fur makes them become calmer. In fact, a person can tell the cat all the problems and be sure that it (the cat) will not blame a person or tell this secret to anyone else.
Third. Pets develop responsibility. Once people take the pet, they become fully responsible for the quality of its life. If some people might forget about themselves and do not eat, for example, such behavior is unacceptable in relation to animals. It is necessary to feed them, to entertain, to care and to spend time with them.
Fourth. Pets perfectly balance people`s character. The cat is an incredibly independent being, who forces its owners to be less oppressive and more accommodating. In fact, the owners of the cats tend to become philosophers over time because they know how to negotiate with the most intractable being - their cat. If cats often subordinate their owners, the dogs on the contrary encourage them to move and to be optimistic. At least a dog`s need to go for a walk makes the owners adhere to the regime of the day, appear in the street more often and become more active than before. In addition, the dog brings a lot of confidence to their owners because these animals exhibit loyalty, devotion, and treat their owner as the leader of the pack.
