I believe that Orfeo Negro is one of such movies that should be definitely watched by everyone who is interested in the Brazilian culture. The reason for this is its unforgettable and captivating atmosphere created by the carnival in Rio de Janeiro, which serves as a setting for the events that take place in the movie. The way these events are connected with the carnival deserves special attention.
First of all, it is necessary to state that the script and its end in particular are known almost to everyone, because it is a classic Greek story of Orpheus and Eurydice.
