According to Belmon and Deal, reframing of organization can be divided into four parts namely;structural frame,human resource frame, symbolic frame, integrating frame and political frame each having its independence characteristics and roles.In every an organization these frames carry a big role therefore it is upon the management to ensure they are well implemented. In case an organization fails to manage them well, works may end up on strikes either demanding for more payment or poor working conditions (Eric 35).
Every member of the organization should have his/her own role.This will ensure easy way of doing work and high yield will be guaranteed to the organization.From the top authority up to the subordinate stuff members should clearly be aware of their duties to reduce inconveniences within that organization.
In addition to that, the organization should come up with a way of distributing work to its workers.Some of the factors should be considered while doing this and are as follow;
I. The organization should have the worker knowledge to reduce any misjudgment of the work supposed to be done at that particular time by a particular person.
II. The duration of that work should also be considered to ensure that workers are not overworked.
III. The organization should be aware its product, the customers of that product and their location at that time of production, and the process to be taken either to reach them or produce that product.
IV. The organization also should have a good way of coordinating different roles and once a decision is achieved each member should be informed.
There are some advantages that a well-structured organization gets. It can increase its production and its size, its processes are also improved, it last for long time, achieves its goal much conveniently, uses advanced technology in its production, increases its customers, it can change according to the environment, its leadership becomes more organized (Joan 17).
HUMAN RESOURCE FRAME
This is a frame which is concerned with the people working in an organization.Its main focus is their skills in the field work, their altitude towards their work, commitment in their work and their ability in terms of energy. Therefore,managers should considers it more for success of their organizations by awarding,promoting and paying people well,teaming up, providing securities and training them.
POLITICAL FRAME
Its main area of concern is power and conflicts, how the organization competes with others to gain more points and making coalition with other interesting parties and how justice can be achieved. So an organization should have managers with visions to succeed.
SYMBOLIC FRAME
The name of the organization should go hand in hand with its products not just giving names without consideringthe physical impression to customers. Also choosing of product colors will determine how the customer is going to take that product. A well symbolized organization, more successful it is.
INTEGRATING FRAME
This deals with knowledge of associating each frame to the situation of the organization’s environment. Every decision should be done wisely to reduce biasness especially in human and symbolic frame.
a) A well-structured organization increases its production through specialization and division of labor, by emphasizing rationality, coordinating and controlling its activities clearly, and by working hard to accomplish its goals and objectives together with solving problems once they occur.
b) An organization with a good human resource frame will continue for long time to work with people who give their services for long because of good relationship with that organization hence increasing its production values. This is achieved through; training, promoting, good payment, sharing of the wealth and rewarding workers (Joan 9).
c) With political frame the organization is able to come up with competitive strategies so that it wins their opponent, have good relationships with others and make good decision.
d) Symbolic frame maintains the image of the organization together with its products to customers.
A good leadership is detecting a problem and challenge in an organization and come with a positive decision and actions immediately rather than viewing them lightly. A good leader should transform the knowledge into workable one to ensure good running of the organization. With good leadership, you are able to give explanations and also predict any future occurrence and it develop if you use it for long period of time.
Sense making is a process which involves some steps; first you must notice the something, and then decide what to be done and lastly determine what you are going to do with it. It depends with somebodies’ experience in that field of work.sense making and every day theories are related things.leaders are now blinded by these two ideas whereby they assume everything is normal forgetting any new change which can be used alternatively and forget to ask themselves a question on decisions they make. Structural frame arranges its agendas to achieve organization’s goals, objectives and tasks. It also ensures clarity due to assigning different roles to different people (Eric 35).
Human resource ensures relationship between the organization and the people where they exploit their talents. To increase the productivity people should be motivated. Political frame create a competitive field to the scarce resources, fighting for power and conflicts. This is an advantage because leaders will be more creative and innovative. Symbolic frame create a good history and culture of the organization, and its image.
New leaders come with improved ideas to an organization even if are not related to the owners of the company.A good manager should work hard to maximize profit of the organization. For one to be promoted he/she must have worked hard in the previous specialization and shows interest in the new task ahead. As a new CEO you must have target in your mind to achieve and add values than the previous leader.When two leaders share some ideas, they can come up with more strong decisions in an organization. It is also better to share with leaders who are retiring because they have more knowledge about the organization than a new leader even if he/she is performing.
Organization frames are emphasis to that an organization can get some information from others for its decisions. This will create good relationship with other organizations either within your area or abroad (Eric 33). A new CEO should change the symbol of the previous CEO so that a new image will be seen in that organization. As a new CEO you should welcome other people’s ideas so that you come up with a satisfactory decision. Focusing in advertisement will give the organization an improved competition opportunity because more customers are reached.
