According to the different scales of the test, Meyer's Briggs Testing Instrument eventually ended up being an accurate, reliable and validity test. Therefore, becoming popular tool and qualify for personality test. The distinct scales are sensing (S) and intuition (N) functions that comprises an observation to others as they collect information. The second scale is thinking (T) and feeling (F) get attention on how individuals make decisions that are based from the information they have gathered (Robbins, Stephen, 26). The third scale is extraversion (E) and introversion (I) focus on whom individuals interact and respond to the world they are living. The fourth scale is judging (J) and perceiving (P) brings out the reaction individuals tend to deal and cope up with the outside world.
After the test, I realized that I have a severe sense when it comes to time of urgency. I noticed that am always running, and it is hard to relax. While I failed to do something, I ended up feeling guilty. I also discover that am overachiever since I always involve myself with different and unrelated activities where I dedicate my energy and perform excellently in them. However, I noticed that am in for stress. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by amount of work that I am performing, but when it comes to this I usually use my plans of the day. However, I am usually having high challenging spirit, and this enhances my competitiveness (Robbins, Stephen, 37).
On the other side, some personalities differ and tend to be opposite to type A personality. Sometimes I feel being relaxed by nature, therefore, having less or no sense during urgent time. Therefore, it means no harm to relax for a period of time or sit without doing any task. Also, while I am forced to work, the chances of delaying that task are very high (Stein, Dena, 36). The best thing in type B personality is that I do not get stressed up quickly or easily. Similarly, I consider myself achiever but I lack sense that help me to observe others; therefore, I do not feel stress at all.
In order one to be accepted by the society or the people, he/she is living with them they must adjust their character. By managing my stress and applying, the four scales of the test will help to improve all my services. Alternatively, I should also respect other's value and have a sense of humor. In addition, I should know that personality does not mean that I should look on others but it represents the person I am. As a result, I must develop confidence in me. For instance, enhance confidence in my eyes, face and voice that will impress other people. After the test, I realized that I should manage how to read other people minds. Finally, I must have a positive attitude and thoughts toward myself and others as well and stand firm when there is a need to prove myself (Stein, Dena, 45).
It is hard to control people, however; it is possible to allow individuals to control themselves in a way that I can benefit me. However, my behavior can make other people to respect me. By using positive reinforcement changing my undesirable personal behaviors will make others feel respected. I should apply the following three goals that people subconsciously seek material gain, security and symbolic rewards such as recognizing and praising them.
Positive side
My positive temperament is expounded to the approach I operate among the expectations of nature. The foremost hyped positive attribute below my jurisdiction is that the incontrovertible fact that I’m associate intellect and thus my reasoning capability surpass that of my peers (Robbins, Stephen, 63). In regard to a detailed intellectual observation, I discovered that I behave a terribly developed person as associated to my age mates. This could sound rule; however, I do know its associate action on my face (Stein, Dena, 76). In addition, I’m packed with comedy and thus I will build individuals laugh their resolution of issues. All of those attributes indicate, however, sturdy I’m. I do know a way to solve my issues whenever they arise. I even have ne'er fanciful; however, difficult life will become as a result of I approach problems from a positive perspective.
Negative side
The negative side is related to the attribute of being a giant dreamer in life. I invariably dream huge in terms of what I want in life as part of my perceived achievements. Though having huge dreams is sweet in one’s life, it's wedged negatively on me. As an example; I invariably set high standards once it involves selecting things. This is applicable to all or any things associated with addressing problems at work, academics, or social relationships. Generally, I’m seemingly a tough person to please (Stein, Dena, 56). My fastidious temperament doesn't permit ME to bend too low to accept negligible things. I invariably wish to associate myself with omnipresent, unique, and conspicuous things. Consequently, this side makes ME lose plenty of opportunities in life. I invariably forget that everything should begin from a humble starting before achieving hugely.
Subordinate behavior facets are 6 in every personality; they include extraversion that involves activity spirit, cheerfulness and friendliness. Conscientiousness is the personal trait that consist self-efficacy, as well as self-discipline and achievement-striving. Agreeableness is a trait that involves cooperation, morality and trust. Openness to experience comprises liberalism, imagination and emotion control (Robbins, Stephen, 34). Neuroticism is a personality trait that comprises anxiety, vulnerability, anger, self-consciousness and depression.
