American Pharmacists Association
Mission
Empowers members to utilize the best medication in the treatment process by; giving providing information crucial to members, raising the awareness of the society about the role of pharmacists in patient care, provision of resources to members for development, influencing legislations and policies to oversee development of the vision and creating a platform for sharing with other healthcare professional (American Pharmacists Association, 2016).
Vision
APhA is the organization whose members are known in the society for the provision of all medication used in improving health, quality of life and wellness (American Pharmacists Association, 2016).
Values
1. Accountability – accepting responsibility for the mistakes done and for reasonable achievements of goals.
2. Collaboration – application of team-based approaches, coordination, and communication in addressing goals and objectives

Ascension
Mission
Rooted in the ministry of Christ, this not-for-profit organization provides health care to persons with special needs like the poor and the vulnerable. This care is based on holistic, spiritual centered care to improve the health of persons and communities (Ascension, 2015).
Vision
We envision a strong and vigorous catholic health ministry in the United States with the objectives of transforming healthcare. We ensure that service is committed to communities in addressing their needs and expanding the role of the leadership and the sponsorship. All these objectives are aimed at sustain the ministry in the future (Ascension, 2015)..
Values
1. Service to the poor – by being generous to the needy in the community
2. Integrity – using leadership to inspire trust (Ascension, 2015).

American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
Mission
AACN rely on expert knowledge in disseminating their services to patients and also fulfilling their promises to families of patients that they take care. The reason for putting a focus on excellence is because there is no room for accepting anything less (AACN, 2016).
Vision
The organization puts much dedication on developing a healthcare system which driven ahead by needs of individual under the care and their families and where critical care nurses must make contributions.
Values
1. Ethical integrity and accountability – should be incorporated in making organizational decisions, organizational relationships and in resource stewardship.
2. Excellence and innovation – to progress the profession (AACN, 2016).
3. Leadership to that focuses on maximum individual contribution – should be achieved through critical thinking, learning, and inquiry.
4. Collaboration – to ensure that family refocused and quality patient care is upheld (AACN, 2016).
The mission of the Sigma Theta Tau International is much focused on providing leaders that will have a cutting edge competition in the healthcare industry. This fact is strengthened by the values of the organization which aims at making Sigma Theta Tau International the only organization of choice for all nurses in the country. To realize this goal, the values of this organization stress on the need for a collaborative working framework which encourages camaraderie and teamwork (Honor Society of Nursing, 2016).. Teamwork forms the basis for having a nursing leadership that exudes excellence only. This leadership goes a long way in ensuring that patients receive maximum care with positive outcomes likely to result from it.
The American Pharmacists Association is mandated with providing crucial information to its members with the objectives of raising awareness in the community about the important roles that pharmacist play in ensuring the health of persons in the society. Such efforts are aimed at overall improving wellness, and life quality of patients in the country (American Pharmacists Association, 2016). To achieve these objectives, it is imperative that, the organization is at the forefront in encouraging its members to observe integrity, respect, collaboration, accountability and quality as the key tenets in the provision of their services. These efforts are targeted at improving the effectiveness of its members in carrying out their duties. It is important o note that this organization involves itself in the policy formulation process so as to have members act within the stipulated rules and regulations with the aim of upholding professionalism.
Healthcare provision to the less fortunate in the society has in a long time been ignored by the society at large. Therefore, it is worth appreciating the role that Ascension plays in addressing these healthcare problems. Their mission of providing holistic care which is rooted in the values and teachings of Christ are aimed at portraying a positive image of the healthcare industry and also in ensuring that holistic care is given to patients. The initiative also serves the role of providing guidance and sponsorship to the poor in the society (Ascension, 2015). Additionally, the values of the Ascension group of creativity, reverence, wisdom, dedication, service to the poor and integrity strengthens these efforts. These values provide the basis under which the spirit of compassion, stewardship, and respect for life, leadership and generosity can be manifested.
The critical care section of the hospital is a very sensitive area due to the fact that the lives of many individuals found here are usually on the balance. Due to this fact, there is the need for nurses who are tasked with providing care to these patients to show high levels of professionalism in their service provision process. Since there is no room for mistakes in this section of the healthcare system, it is imperative that nurses be actively involved in utilizing all the best skills and knowledge in carrying out their tasks (AACN, 2016). These efforts are aimed at satisfying the healthcare needs of these patients while at the same time ensuring that family members can easily cope with the situation at hand. Verily, the values of the American association of critical-care nurses of integrity and accountability, excellence and innovation, collaboration and a leadership design that focuses on the maximum contribution by all care providers, it makes it easy for critical care nurses to have a good understanding of what their roles are.
