There are several organizational structures that many organizations conform to in the industry today. These structures include Functional structures, divisional structures and matrix structures.
Functional Structures
Functional structures are organizational structures that operate on the sole basis of their functionality. Here people and activities are grouped together on the grounds of their similarities in expertise, work, resource utilization or goals.
Divisional Structures
Divisional structure is a form of organizational structure that borrows from the word division. It implies that an organizations structure is divided into divisions or departments. Matrix Structures
These types of organizational structure involve the grouping of people and activities in multi-functional teams depending on the contract or project service. Its main goal is to match resources and expertise with individual client needs and the business and technical requirements of individual contracts and projects. The two organizations that will be used in this case will be borrowed from the famous movie the internship and the movie Devil wears Prada. These two movies rely solely on the life of the characters in the work place and the environment in general.
In the internship, the business structure being used is matrix organizational structure where the grouping of people and activities in multi-functional teams depending on the contract or project service. This ensures that the organization is run smoothly and strategically because it combines individual efforts and resources to accomplish specific tasks. How the organization’s structure and culture can Impact business performance
Business performance is a form of measurement that looks at the business in terms of its goals and objectives and if they have been met by the business. The organization’s structure can be influence business performance either positively or negatively. For multilevel organizations, structure is key in ensuring that it reaches its mandate. Here the organization will divide the job tasks and working groups so as to facilitate coordination. For small organizations, they normally don’t incorporate proper structures and which leads to poor performance (Cunliffe 2008, P. 45).

There are several factors that may influence individual behavior at the work place. Some of the known factors are motivation of the employees, the pay and the general working conditions of the work environment will greatly the employee behavior in any organization. In the movie the internship, Nick is seen to enjoy the conditions at the work environment which pushes him to give his all and learn new things.
Management and Leadership
Management in organizations and in business can simply be described as the act of coordinating people and resources with the particular objective of achieving specific goals. These involve planning, staffing organizing and leading. There are some management approaches that are being used to day. The culture of team work is depicted here where individuals are made to work in teams to facilitate collaboration and coordination. The organizations success is attributed to the fact that the individuals are made to work together. The interns for example, were put into groups of five each and later assigned a team head as they carried out their job tasks.
Individuals in the Internship also demonstrated the aspect of culture and organizational structure. Billy and Nick demonstrate a high level of culture as they demonstrate team spirit during a game of Muggle Quidditch where he restores the team’s confidence by giving them story that boosts the team’s morale even though their team lost at the end of the game.
