We’ve had the privilege to work together as a team for a number of years by now, and it’s always been a great pleasure to witness your professionalism and devotion to our cause! With your help, your enormous effort our refinery has become one of the business champions in the area and in the industry, in general, setting an example for others to follow. It is in our best mutual interest to continue developing our entity at a reasonably fast pace in order to preserve the sustainable growth and be able to face the challenges of the future!
As you all already know, we recently found a solution to the problem of excessive utility expenses. The proposal is concerning operating certain pumping devices at night. Some of us may consider this suggestion controversial, however it actually contains an answer to many existing problems. I will do my best to provide the best explanation to you, so that you yourselves would see all the perks of it.
The first obvious advantage of operating the Electric Transfer Pumps during the night and the Steam transfer Pumps during the day is the fact that by doing so we will be able to save no less that 1.5 million dollars per year. In order to realize the importance of this money saving we have to evaluate a bigger picture. What will this money bring to our company? It would be naive to think that this extra cash would be simply pumped into the pockets of shareholders! This money may and will be used for optimization of our manufacturing and managerial procedures, increase of social budget, contribution to the sustainable development of our company. This extra money will lead to a synergetic effect, and within a relatively short period of time help our company to be more successful and competitive! Apart from that, shift in operating cycles will also undoubtedly contribute to the community, as we will be able to decrease consumption of electricity during peak hours, releaving the network from excessive pressure, therefore preventing possible blackouts and even pollution.
Some professionals pointed out certain technical issues that we have to face while adopting this new operational model. However, allow me to remind you that every single innovation, be it in manufacturing, economics in general or even in social life call for certain technical and organizational transformations, which may require overcoming certain temporary difficulties and making minor sacrifices. In order to complete this transfer as fast and smoothly as possible, I strongly encourage each and every one of you to share your opinions with the management in a free and constructive manner. We strongly believe that you can use your exceptional professional skills in order to help our company and our team to adopt the new technique. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the future of our company depends on you. This is a great honor and a great responsibility, therefore every voice of yours counts!
My fellow members of the team, without further hindrance, I encourage you to accept and assist with the implementation of the new schedule, and provide all the constructive feedback possible! I strongly believe that together we will surely overcome all these minor difficulties and lead our company to prosperity and sustainability!
