In one’s search for a multinational corporation that is a potentially exemplary environment to work for, one initially typed using the search engine the best multinational companies to work for in 2012. Luckily, the number one company that was noted among Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is Google, which belongs to the media-online internet services industry where one is most interested to join as an administrative assistant. This position is open where it was specifically indicated that “administrative jobs at Google are staffed by bright, organized, energetic and dependable people driven by a common company goal: to help us accomplish great things” .
Google’s head office is currently reportedly located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California . Likewise, as noted Google, as a multinational corporation has established around 70 offices in 40 countries globally. Its mission is explicitly stated as: “to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful” (Google: Company, n.d., par. 1). It is thereby considered an American multinatinal corporation that offers products and services in diverse international markets and strategically establishes offices around the world. As a multinational corporation, therefore, the macro environmental factors (policital, legal and regulatory, technological) that impact their operations differ according to the strategic locations that each corporate office is established. For instance, since President Obama has been newly re-elected, the political, legal, regulatory and technological policies that the current administration would propose to affect multinational coporations would significantly affect Google’s operations and performance. One discovered that Google likewise won the Cannes Mobile Award that reinforces the philosophy that “digital marketing is about engagement and gamification works” . As such, Google continually evolves as an increasingly dynamic and innovative multinational organization where one dreams to belong.
