Finally, concerning payments and value of care, the death rates from heart attack patients are better compared with the national average which stands at 14.1%. In regards to the value of care which pneumonia patients receive, the national rates of 16.3% are poor compared to the rates of the facility even though the cost implications are the same (Medicare Hospital Compare, 2016). Finally, in regards to the rates of Medicare spending, the national average of 0.98 is less than those of NYU hospitals centre which are at 1.02.
