Matrix
In order to understand the feasibility of the business and prepare a realistic and accurate plan for the development of the same, it is critical to understand how the business idea fits into external environment and what will be the competencies and competitive advantage that it should offer to the market to succeed (Bannett 15-28).
Summary
Little Tykes is a unique business proposition, which gives a competitive advantage to the marketing strategy and builds on the natural public, which does not necessarily need to be gained from competition, but can be acquired through partnerships and sponsorship with companies involved in related activities. At the same time, the lack of experience with similar activities on the market places significant pressure on the scrutiny accuracy of the risk management and financial planning, as little statistics and historical data exist. Children-related businesses have been growing significantly over the past decades and there numerous opportunities for business diversification and geographic expansion. At the same time, the public, which Little Tykes will be targetting will be always limited and, thus, poses risks to the organic growth potential (Analoui and Karami, 80-105).
