Clinton County is rightly within the borders of Pennsylvania in the United States of America as one of the counties whose statistical data is relevant during the census. The county has an estimated population of about 39,441 people. The inhabitants are diverse as they majorly consist of a number of different races and cultures from across the globe. However, the whites dominate the bigger portion of the population while the other races such as the African American and the Asians accounting for a very small number.
The Clinton county community is hardworking, self-motivating, and majorly represented in various activities aimed at building the nation. For instance, the demographic information of the county is available on the internet and in many other relevant sources. The entire population has been in rising up to the current population of 39 441 (United States Census Bureau, 2016). The female sub-group of the population is a little bit higher than the male population since they account for approximately 51% of the population (United States Census Bureau, 2016)
The socioeconomic facts are also based on reliable sources from the United States census. The statistics indicate that the community participates in a number of business activities ranging from agriculture to many modern ones such as the stock exchange (DeSantis, Ma, Bryan, &Jemal, 2014). Nevertheless, all the businesses bear in mind the importance of the social lives of individuals surrounding their operations. The female sub-group of the population is particularly important in the analysis of the health status of the population.
The women in Clinton County are the most affected category of people within this population. The health complication that is most common among women or rather the female sub-group is breast cancer (DeSantis, Ma, Bryan, &Jemal, 2014). According to the United States, epidemiological data it is clear that breast cancer poses a great to the women population in the county. The mortality rate from the above illness is on a constant rise partially due to exposure of women to cancerous food substances (Knudson, Meit, Tanenbaum, Brady, Gilbert, Klug, & Schroeder, 2016).
Sources that can provide information about the quality of life within this population are for instance the internet, local libraries, and the media. The internet provides statistical information to the entire world community regardless of their location. On the other hand, the local libraries have articles and books documenting the demographics of the Clinton county community. In addition, the media especially the print media can also be reliable in offering facts about the quality of life of the community members.
The information available in the three sources above indicates that the quality of life of the community members within the Clinton county. The population belonging to this county is rather living in high standards and economic achievement. Community capacity is a number of assets that are available for use in the society and it covers even other resources such as human resource (Green, & Haines, 2015). The relationship between community capacity and needs assessment is that a need assessment gives detail information on the requirements of individuals, which is then aligned with the available assets.
In the evaluation of community capacity, it will be necessary to follow some outlined steps and procedures for a successful outcome (Green, & Haines, 2015). For the case of the Clinton County, the first step will be to contact a survey on the available assets throughout the county. Secondly, gather reliable information about the actual population of the county. Then compare the per capita of the individuals to the requirement of each individual in the community.
