This Education Contract is entered into as of the date of the last signature affixed hereto, by and between the Organization and the Employees that wish to pursue further studies while still under employment (Washington, 2005).
In courtesy of the mutual covenants and promises outlined in this, and other valuable deliberations, the sufficiency of which is by this means approved, the Organization and the Employees hereby consent that:
1. The Organization will foster the advancement of education qualifications of any employee working with the company. The company, however, maintains the right to shift working schedules, titles, reporting relationships, and duties as may be best suited to serve its mandate during the education period provided. Any change associated with this shift in duties shall be facilitated by training, experience, and qualifications of the worker (Washington, 2005).
The terms and conditions stipulated in the Employee Education Agreement while in employment shall, to the degree not outlined in this contract, be governed by organizational rules and procedures and existing practices. In the case that contradictions are identified between this contract and the policies and procedures document or existing practices, the stipulations outlined in this contract shall persist (Lockton, 2006).
2. This Educational Contract shall take effect from 15th May 2016 and shall persist for three years before expiration, upon which the agreement shall be on an “at will” basis; unless the agreement is terminated promptly by either the company or the employee, under the terms outlined within the contract. The term postulated within the document can be extended or shortened by a subsequent contract fittingly executed by both or each of the parties pertinent to the agreement, in which case the way forward would be guided by the new terms outlined in the new contract.
3. Special fees are advocated for in accordance with any obligatory duties that may be demanded of the employee, of which the company shall cater for all the fees. Other expenses incurred in the event that this scope is exceeded are subject to the employee’s total liability, including such amounts as rentals and food allowances during the education period (Reid, 2016).
4. The employee shall receive a weekly compensation of $150, which translates to $1800 annually, during the period of the study agreement. The payment of the base salary shall be similar and on the same payroll schedule as other organization employees. Any increases in the basic worker wage during and after the educational contract shall be within the sole discretion of the company executives, and nothing herein shall be reckoned to necessitate such an increase (Lockton, 2006).
5. The employee recognizes that he or she is being accorded a position to further his or her studies and agrees that this Educational Contract is subject to their successful performance of the obligation as demanded of the position they hold.
6. The Educational Contract with the company may be terminated before its expiration, following these subsequent conditions: Termination without Cause, Termination by the Worker, or Termination by Death or Disability (Washington, 2005).
7. The amount if general liability insurance coverage and any other coverage offered by the company shall apply exclusively to the stipulations held under this agreement for the period agreed upon within the contract.
In witness whereof, the Organization and Employee have executed and delivered this Agreement as of the following date:
