I am a marketing and advertising professional with over 10+ years experience; I have been part of communication campaigns that were built on the brief’s premise, to create out of the box ideas that were cutting edge and groundbreaking, to win in the marketplace, for sectors such as FMCG, Telecommunication, Construction, Fashion, Financial Products, Retail and Retail. My key forte is multitasking, and I have been a part of leading advertising agencies, in developing new business revenue streams and managing the clientele by providing new business avenues, in the capacity of an Account Director and Strategic Planner.

In this age of globalization and the successful and dynamic impact of digital media, the marketing world has transformed, with multiple new avenues, opened up, requiring advertising communication to connect with the customers in a manner that generate, sustain and maintain the company’s products or services, presence amid stiff competition on a global level, in the minds of the consumers.
The companies that I want to work with are marketing communication agencies, with a focus on advertising agencies, in view of the fact that, at an agency, there are several services provided to clients and one cannot feel jaded or monotonous due to the work routine.
The zenith of every advertising and marketing professional is to work with agencies having a global footprint and to be able to work on award winning campaigns, besides, the facilities in terms of improving from a professional perspective, with better mentors and a strong network of senior industry professionals and an envious list of clientele, and most importantly enjoying and believing in the work in terms of ambition and desire.
The advertising agencies that I have focused on are not only top agencies on a global level, but they are also categorized as A-list agencies, in terms of diversified services rendered to leading clients on a global level, and most importantly, work as partners with businesses from the start to create the impact in terms of sales, recognition, equity or creating a new consumer category or business (Ad Age, 2016).
The A-List company’s targeted, is Droga5, and it is listed as the number one company in Ad Age, the main premise to target Droga5 is that the agency is only growing and have jumped revenues from $78million in 2014 to the current $126 million (Diaz, 2016).
The main premise of the agency’s success is caring, and, this has been one of the key attributes that helped me develop a strong client base and relationships, in my agency career till date, also, the creative work done by the agency is amazingly innovative that suggests a great planning team that I have been part of with different agencies.
McCann is also on the targeted priority list, with the primary reason that the agency, in expanding its talent pool on a global basis, with strategy and creativity being the key attributes and having worked as an Account Management and Strategic Planning, I feel my experience fits the bill, besides, the agency in growing at a rapid pace with $100 million in US revenues, for new business posted recently (Morrison, 2016).
With the focus on digital media and game changing innovations from the technological viewpoint, R/GA is targeted as it is one of the top most digital agencies on a global level, and with a strong list of clients such as, Nike, Samsung, Google to name a few, the agency is focused on transforming human behavior and to be a part of such entity will be exciting in terms of projects and learning new aspects of the business (Bruell, 2016).
Skills Benefit
The skill sets that I have acquired over a period of time include idea development and presentation development and sales pitch. New business development, in relation to generating new business streams and repeat business from established clients.
I have developed copy and content for smaller agencies that I have worked with, and most importantly understanding the needs and requirements of the clients and helping in achieving agency objectives in terms of sales and building competitive brand equity.
The aforementioned, have been practiced on a 360° perspective, by executing advertising & PR campaigns, events and brand activations, both on the ground and online, and by attending an online social media marketing techniques course recently, I am quite adept in utilizing my marketing expertise on the digital channels, in terms of strategy and management, besides, I have my own marketing blog, that will help in showcasing my understanding of the business.
The aforementioned skills will help in obtaining a position at the three agencies and I will be able to kick start with minimal supervision.
The three agencies mentioned above, will have lots of candidates who have the skill set that I have acquired, however, my social connect with my colleagues, management, and clients and their positive references, will stand in good stead to have a chance to land a position at the coveted targeted agencies.
