The normal body fat range and BMI for males between the age of 20-39 is 8.0 to 19.90. At 28 years old, 62.6kg and 164cm, the BMI that was measured was 16.7% body fat according to the bioelectrical impedance analysis. According to the Canadian Guidelines for Body Weight Classification in Adults, this is considered underweight, and has an increased risk of developing health problems including undernutrition, osteoporosis, infertility, and impaired immunocompetence. In comparison to the population norms shown in the 1983 Metropolitan Height and Weight table, the frame size of the measurements was medium, and the desirable body weight range would be 130-145 pounds, or 59kg to 65.7kg. The percentage of desirable body weight was 6.1%.
The relationship between body compartments including muscle mass and fat mass is that men have much more muscle compared to women of all ages and in all regions of the body. Anthropometry is utilized during the assessment of physical growth, aging of the body, physical performance, and risks regarding health. Anthropometric equations are elemental in evaluating fat distribution of the body that may be abnormal. For example, fat in the intraabdominal region has been repeatedly linked to higher risks of cardiac death, while death from cancer has been linked many times to lower muscle mass and subcutaneous fat. Furthermore, higher levels of central fat distribution can exacerbate preexisting risks of cancer death. In my own findings, I was surprised to see that the Waist to Hip Ratio was 0.90cm,which was just below the 0.95 standard for men that indicates a high proportion of abdominal fat as well as an association with health risks. I did not expect it to be so close to this standard, since the BMI was very low. With this in mind, I would foresee further higher proportions of abdominal fat as aging continues.

The strength measured for dynanometer measurements for the grip strength rate was between 24kg, 30kg, and 28kg, which made the average 27.3kg. That means that the evaluated hand grip is categorized as “weak,” because it is less than 37.7 for the ages between 25 and 29.
The limitations inherent in anthropometric assessment include the inability to adequately measure potential nutritional deficiencies as well as small alterations in the proportion of fat to muscle mass. Measuring weight cannot sufficiently evaluate growth or body composition. The only way that anthropometric measurements can work is if they are compared with reference values, such as gender and age. This would impact my interpretation of the measurements, because it could give me the wrong perception of someone's health due to limited insight into the actual makeup of the person's physical state.
Hospitalized and non-ambulatory patients present special challenges in that they cannot always undergo the proper exercises needed to evaluate physicality, such as hand grip strength. While their height and weight can be measured, the state of their health renders them temporarily exempt from the normal standards of measurements that would otherwise be used to compare their results with others. The state of health would be one of illness or disease, rather than the state of the body if it were fully healthy. In addition, a weakened state would generally lead to lower levels of both muscle and fat mass in the body that would otherwise be higher.
