I am a young energetic person who is driven by the desire to achieve. I am highly motivated with an ultimate goal of being the best of who I really am. In everything I did, I had been focusing on satisfying my internal appeal to better myself. Being a detail oriented person, I always want to continue, learn more, discover the undiscovered and grow as an individual against all odds of life. My journey in the field of business began some years back when I decided to let the thought of dealing with numbers sink in my whole being. I can say that it took me sometime to make a sound decision. Nevertheless, I found passion for business, accounting and numbers which led me to where I am now.
In the past few years I have been working on my higher education in business. I succefully completed my BS in Business Administration with a double major in Management and marketing at University of Louisville in the year 2008. I went ahead with my study in the same university. In the year 2011, I managed to acquire my Post-Bachelorette Accounting Certificate. I continued to broaden my knowledge and skills contributing to my profession. Recently in February 2013, I completed Uniform CPA exam. My academic qualifications put me at a better position in my career but still, I would not like to confine my thoughts to myopic vision.
I had worked at Fifth Third Bank from March 2009 to July 2011 as a customer service representative. I possess a superb leadership, Interpersonal, Planning and communication ability. I addressed customer inquiries, assisted in problem resolution, provided responsive and timely correspondence and developed rapport with customer base with so much passion and competence. Through these, I was awarded Customer Service Representative Superstar (An Award of Excellence) in the year 2009 and 2010.
I have the ability to asses and analyze complex information. Being a member of Kentucky Society of Certified Professional Accountant and Member of Kentuckian Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), I have been able to solve complex problems we face in the field of business. I have consistently met and suppressed sales referrals and quotas leading our branch to being the most productive and profitable in the region. Due to my outstanding performance, I was placed in charge of 2010 Audit responsibilities and requirements for our branch. These showed a full trust of leadership ability bestowed on me by the bank’s management. Earlier in January 2007 to June the same year, I had worked as an intern in Merchandise Department where I processed third party vendors applications, set up third party vendors at events, reconciliation of cash receipts and disbursements, mailing to sponsors, setting up merchandise locations at specified events and prepared inventory. I did all this on voluntary basis. Soon after that in 2008, I worked at Aflac (American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus) as an Independent Associate Representing Aflac till the year 2009.
I am a very detail oriented person. I still strongly believe that I am not at my personal best without acquiring a MBA degree. My main goal of applying for this program is need to round out my educational background. I enjoy acquiring new knowledge and specifically complement my CPA exam with a MBA degree. At the same time, I will enhance my opportunities and skills and enable me to be competent enough in the competitive job market. It will therefore fully equip me to better provide for my own family one day.
I have high expectations and hopes in University of Louisville. I believe that the institution offers the best quality MBA degree. Having gone through the same institution for my first degree, I won’t doubt that I will acquire best skills to make me achieve my dreams and ambitions in life.
