I began my higher education studying business management at Lebanese American University. Upon entering and choosing to study business with a concentration in management, I was unsure if it would be for me, but the two subjects had always fascinated me and I wanted to learn more about them. Fortunately, I knew immediately I had made the right decision, becoming so enthralled with both the business-mechanics, and management side of each subject I was sure about my future. I knew I would go on to pursue a Master’s in Management in order to take my professional career an personal interests in the subject as far as I could, which is why I write to you today with expressed interest in your program.
Today, I write to apply for the Master’s program at Queen Mary University in an effort to enhance my ever increasingly well-rounded academic skills. The program will develop the curriculum already being laid before me in the Pre-Master’s program, better preparing me for my professional future. Currently my goal is to continue my education for a Master’s in Management exclusively with Queen Mary University, as I have grown to love everything about the institution from the staff and faculty, to the campus and surrounding area.
Prior to applying I completed three internships in insurance. Throughout my life I watched my father work in insurance, and I already knew a little bit about it. Breaking into the insurance field would be a success for me. Similar to my father, I believe I could be an asset to any insurance organization I set my sights on. Aside from the three completed internships, which allowed me to gain experience in business, as well as management, I also completed a summer program in 2015 at the London School of Economics. I found the course to be very enjoyable, encompassing knowledge about the political economy in advanced nations. It was material I was unused to, but I quickly realized it would be essential to building a successful career in business or management, no matter where I begin my professional life after graduating.
Studying in London was also exciting as I enjoyed the diversity of the city, as well as my classes. Studying a multicultural subject in a multicultural environment is an essential part of being a successful student, but also eventually a successful businessperson and manager. I hope to take all I learned there about the political economy throughout the world, as well as the various inner-workings of such a diverse city and apply it to my coursework and future career.
My life and education have molded me into a motivated, self-starting individual. From the moment I began learning about business and management, I knew it was what I wanted to do. The field of business management is where I belong. I also know I am capable of anything with the right tools, and Queen Mary University can not only give me those tools, but prepare me for situations in my future career I have not even dreamed of yet. With the help of your staff and challenging curriculum, there will be no challenge I cannot overcome successfully. I look forward to applying this attitude Master’s Program as I have in the Pre-Mater’s Program throughout its entirety.
Thank you for your time.
