It is important to note that the story depicted superioty of the rebellious elements in the society. This negative moral lesson and brainwashing of the minority. The rebellious activities of the youth in urban areas were depicted to be heroic. On the contrary the activities should have been portrayed as barbaric and uncouth. Criminal behavior amongst the youth should not be encouraged at all cost. However, the story does not provide the basis for the rebellion of the youth in the urban areas. The weaknesses of the society are presented in unethical manner. The implications of racism and poverty are used to justify the extensive level of indiscipline. The play continues to encourage the immoral activities resulting to multiple detrimental effects to the society.

The art work should have presented a story of a success form the high levels of poverty and racism. This could motivate and provide a role model figure to the destitute in the society. Moreover, the discouragement of the street gang activities should have been well articulated.
