There are several debates about whether or not to exercise. I believe that doing exercises is good and of great benefit to the body. By doing the exercises, a person gets to enjoy a wide range of benefits both physically and emotionally. There are various forms of exercises such as cardio, stretching and lifting weights.
One of the major benefits of exercising is that it helps to control weight. If a person’s activities majorly revolve around eating, sitting and sleeping for a long period of time, the body gains weight because of the calories and fats stored in the body. Through exercising like running, and cardio the excessive fats and calories get burnt and released out of the body leaving you in great shape and improves agility (Ross, Robert et al., 96) . Exercising has another benefit which is preventing the contraction of certain diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes among others. Exercising helps reduce cholesterol in the body which clogs the arteries and reduce the blood pressure reliving the stress on your heart creating smooth blood flow. High blood pressure is serious as it has claimed the lives of many people across the globe. This can be averted through exercises.
Through engaging in exercises such as weight lifting, the body's muscles, ligaments and bones get increased endurance and strength. With this strength you can be able to conduct household activities or any other activities for a longer period of time than others (Hendrick, AllenHiroaki, 29). People who engage in exercises can do a series of activities without resting compared to those who do not as they tire easily. Exercises increase the rate of blood flow and through this increased blood flow, oxygen and nutrients present in the blood get supplied to all parts of the body to assist other cells to fight harmful bacteria leaving the body healthy (Warburton, Darren & Shannon, 803).
