The world is the world is subjective person was celebrated by Walt Whiteman, the reality that we are our own measuring instruments. inside skull is considered better than the outside skull simply because of the thoughts that goes on in the mind, ‘first thought , best thought’ this is absolutely holding since the it is the mind that coordinates and organizes the thoughts in the mind to allow for building hope for the future. When we tend to have a lot of information and lesser syllables we tend to be more knowledgeable and be more confident since the habit of being informed one makes sound decisions and thoughts are much more organized than before, this shows the essence of the hope existing in poetry explanations. .

Kim Addonizio, she is a renown writer of poems, she was born in Washington DC were she had studied and received her B.A and M.A. She is the author of many books her perception is depicted in the poems she writes. She received honors awards from the national endowment. The poet is ‘ the poem of the new year ‘The poet that she wrote explaining the poet about the new year anticipation the poet is basically about a new transition to the new year , she vividly remembers the previous year happenings ,that she compares the firecrackers ‘ a few guns went off amid the firecrackers’ it was a sign that a new begging was beckoning for a new change, this would explain further the essence of the American poets being deterministic in the showing the sign of hope for the future , ‘surely a sign that something new was entering the world’ . the phobia of the poet on the sound of guns that she thought were like those she watched used in a documentary on TV. She narrates the partying that she opted not to attend since many things happen in the scene, kissing of strangers, getting drunk among others.
The new begging is seen since he previous events for example she used to slam the door when the storm becomes ranging, in fright. The window used to rattle this actually explains the essence of luck of pace in the previous year hence the author is hopeful and anticipants the New Year with greater optimism and positivism.
At the onset of the poem the writer is not much expectant on the new year’s coming ,rather he sees it as holding and previous events are still happening ‘so far it is suspiciously similar to the old year .’. When the author looks in the mirror she looks worn and fresh bed wrappings still on her face this entails the author’s non-positivism ion the flow of events. This could be explained deeply on the individual’s kind of life, as people would normally do, they make New Year’s resolutions, as for the writer she needs to be optimistic to ensure that she does not hold back and accept changes. The American poet is a subject on the explanation of the hope for the future. the poem gives hope , hope is what people live in , in the hopes of seeing the new day and steering forward to greater expectation .
