Abstract
It was on 3-07-2012, Sunday night and I was in the office at the time for my night shift duty. At around 24:00 I received a phone from a lady crying saying that she needed instant help if not they were all going to die. She gave me her location North Carolina estate 4B and suddenly hung up. Although I could fully enquire on the nature of her situation I took I the call seriously and tried to reach the patrol in the said area at the time. My efforts were all in vain due to some technical failure in our system and I was therefore forced to leave the office and confront the situation personally. I left the office with my patrol car and by 24:08 I was at the house for which helped had been called from.
The house seemed quite suspicious and I figured that there was something wrong taking place. The dogs chained at the backyard were backing and I could hear cries from afar inside the house. Armed with my short gun I jumped the fence wall to the backyard and tiptoed towards the kitchen window behind the house. That is when a loud cry of a child groaning in pain broke into the air. I tactfully peeped through the kitchen window and saw two women lying down on the floor with beatings on their bodies and without any clothes. A tall man wearing a black suit stood beside them as if to guide them sipping a glass of water with a revolver on his right hand. I could not have a clear view of what was happening in the sitting room of the house hence could not clearly establish the number of the assailants. Due to the fact that there was time to waste I took my chances and destructed the man with a knock on the door for which he responded ready with is gun in case of anything. He came out and I caught him unawares with a mighty kick sending him down to his knees. He was resistant at the beginning but after pointing a gun on him he gave in and I cuffed him. I threatened him so that he could maintain silence for which he did.
I entered into the house, identified myself and whispered to the women lying down on the floor to maintain silence asking them how many more men were in the house. One woman who seemed much older responded telling me that there was one more and that he was with her teenage daughter in the sitting room. Slowly I went forward into the sitting where I found a short man with beards all undressed assaulting the teenage girl sexually. I immediately rescued the girl from the attack and arrested the man though he had slapped me. She was crying and groaned in pain. Immediately I asked the two ladies to come and assist her as I called for backup. The older woman was Mrs. Jackson and the other one her employee in the house, Jane who was the one who had made the phone call before being caught by the assailants. The man dressed in the black suit was identified by the police commissioner as Kevin Hill and one among the most wanted robbers in the country. His counterpart was identified as Michael Roberts a wanted drug dealer and rapist. Help came and the following persons were booked for the crimes as indicated below;
Kevin Hill: Michael Roberts: sentence
