Proposed policy recommendation:Based on your pro or con stance and your summary points above, what do you recommend be changed or implemented? Do you want there to be a law put in place – where will the law occur? Do you want to start a new tax – who or what will be taxed? Do you want an educational program to be created – in what setting will the education be conducted? Youshould be clear and specific about what the policy is, who or what it’s directed to, and what the implications are. In addition, youshould answer some of these questions here: What is your policy? In what setting and where should your policy occur? Who needs to follow it? How will people or adhere to your policy? Who are the stakeholders on the pro and con side? TRY TO THINK BROADLY ABOUT STAKEHOLDERS. THE VALUES OF PUBLIC HEALTH OFTEN COME IN TO CONFLICT WITH OTHER HIGHLY PRIZED VALUES SUCH AS ECONOMIC STABILITY AND PERSONAL FREEDOM. CONSIDER WHAT THE EFFECT OF YOUR POLICY WILL BE FOR THOSE THAT HAVE STRONG OPPOSING VALUES.
PROVIDE ENOUGH DETAIL IN YOUR POLICY STATEMENTS SO THAT THE READER HAS A CONCRETE IDEA HOW THE POLICY WILL BE IMPLEMENTED AND WHAT YOU EXPECT TO ACHIEVE. EACH POLICY RECOMMENDATION NEEDS TO BE DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER; THEY SHOULD BE APPARENTLY UNIQUE.EACH POLICY NEEDS ENOUGH DETAIL; ABOUT A PARAGRAPH EACH.
Policy recommendation (what, where, who, how):
Pro stakeholders: Con stakeholders:
Vaccination will be increased through providing a wide range of education programs for parents and children about real positive effects of vaccination. It follows from the idea that a situation when the parents do not just want to make children vaccinated - it is a problem of the pediatrician, who did not explain to them what can result from the failure of vaccination. Such educational programs will be adopted after consultations with the most famous specialists and adopt a special law that obliges schools and universities to learn such educational programs. Pro stakeholders – doctors. Con stakeholders – children and parents.
Policy recommendation (what, where, who, how):
Pro stakeholders: Con stakeholders:
A special law that prohibits child from going abroad without making certain vaccinations and prohibits not the immunized child from visiting a school or kindergarten should be implemented. It will be provided as soon as possible through adoption of a law. Pro stakeholders – doctors. Con stakeholders – children and parents. This law will oblige official authorities to control not immunized children and their health problems.
