Portable input devices that are used by doctors and clinicians can be those devices that are used to enter information that the nurses collect or those devices that are used to get diagnoses results that are collected from patients. These diagnoses results could be blood pressure and sugar levels. Some of the devices that are used to get these measurements are that of Medislate Mobile Clinical Assistant and SaharaPlate. These two devices are used to enter diagnosis results of patients by the clinicians. Sometimes, the nurses and clinicians would like to use handwriting to enter medical records and diagnoses. These devices are used to enter these results; they have touch screen technology so that nurses can enter information free-style. Another example of portable medical input devices are the wearable blood pressure monitor. This device makes use of pulse wave velocity. This device is different from the traditional blood pressure method because the device is used to monitor pressure the whole day and thus is more effective and reliable.
There are numerous advantages of portable mobile devices which include the fact that they are flexible and accurate. With these devices, the accuracy of the nurses is increased as now it is possible to get results for some specified period of time.
