Positive And Negative Aspects Of Observational Learning In My Life Essay Examples

Observation is the first possible way for each and every of us to learn something about the outside world in our lives. Children are copycatting the things like language, manners or the role models from parents and family. It is the initial method of acquiring information for every human being. But does it mean that this way of learning is the ultimate method of learning? In this paper, I will define this issue in the case of my personal experience.
On the contrary, such way of perception of information can harm a student`s learning. Firstly, this method had proved to be highly dependable on the subjective nature of my opinion. In high school, during my class projects, I was repeatedly experiencing this issue with the subjective perception. The lack of experience and knowledge on a specific topic made my observations, and, therefore, the results of it quite inaccurate and biased. Here I also want to mention the impact of the observation method in its negative side, which I had experienced. Parallel to French I was attending classes of German language. At first, I was pretty enthusiastic about it. But I was strongly disgusted with the teacher`s personality. His manner of speech, his static and passive performance resulted with a strong stereotype about the language in general and certain issues with learning it even nowadays.
As a summary, I`d simply admit that the observational method of learning in personal experience proved to be dramatically effective only in a specific lifetime and with a talented and capable teachers.
