Forrester Research
The posts highlight on the best modes of presenting reports. Ideally, the presentations that are often help in conveying information in a company set up are brief. The reports include short and long technical reports, memos, letters, and management reports. The post explains the emphasis made by Pamela Schindler and Donald Cooper on the need to meet the demands of the audience. Notably, there is the need to customize the report as per the audience expectations.
The posts use an example of Forrester Research. The report takes up the structure of a formal report. For example, problem statement begins then research objectives and finally a briefing on the background. The analysis laid in Forrester research pinpoints the strategies that are useful in the ensuring growth in business. Further, there is the use of technological tools. The customer-managed strategies enhance the achievement the set objectives (Forrester Research, 2016). Other authors aired their options, for example, L. Drell, who agrees with Forrester analysis in the importance of integrating technological ideas and make them be on daily routines. In his "The Experience Economy" article, he emphasizes the essence of ensuring that the business maintains relevance in the market.
The technological empowerment sustains the growth of business. Further, it creates well-informed customers that have transformed the world and boosted the economy to a remarkable position. The companies seek to establish better customer service since the customer service is of great importance. Forrester took the initiative to offer better services to its dynamic customers by designing insight driven, customer led and fast operations in establishing its blueprint. The methodology and findings portray a key analysis of the findings made (Cooper & Schindler, 2014, p.14). The data presented is analyzed, and inference is made. The information aids in making business decisions that are crucial to the growth and development of the business.
Conclusively, Forrester notes that due to sufficient information 40% of the customer fails to obtain the described car. The dealers tend to be providing insufficient information. Forrester made the recommendation that will help the client locate the desired car. In most cases, some client desires to have a custom-made car.
Biblically, it is paramount as Christians often set targets and strive to achieve them. As pointed out in the bible. Proverbs 21:5 states “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.” Incidentally, as discussed in the post, Paul emphasizes on setting goals and striving towards achieving them.
Presentation to Venture Capital Company
The thematic presentation is an essence of making key summaries highly recommended by Cooper Schindler. Ideally, having summarized information saves time; the audience will be given key points that will influence their decisions. Essentially, the research was done but tends to be long; however, it is critical to have summarized information. Often, Venture Capitalists take precautions in making the business plans to the final stage. They screen them before they reach the final stage.
Information is essential in Venture Capitalists, and the company focuses on its contents before they make any final decision. Emphasis is laid on the content that meets the business plan desired by the management (Maeder, n.d.). Interestingly, the presentation tends to be large but during the presentation, the information is condensed, and points that are worth discussing are displayed. Further, assisting illustrations accompany the presentation, for example, the use of charts, graphs, and tables. The analysis is made critically focusing the benefits the presentation will accrue the business firm.
