The concept of leadership in an organization such as a school normally has many concepts that have to be followed in the context that individuals are faced with the prospect that they have to assume leadership in the complex organization. In this context power in the organization have to be channelled down from the top management to the lower staff in the most specific and systematic manner. This is in the context that focuses to examine the vital components that actually makes up an organization such as a school (Robert 2011 p.182).
In that context and overview Robert argues that power negation in an organization structure and the influence is directed down the organization structure. This is with regards to the guidelines of the structure with regards to the flow of the relevant information downwards in the school set up (Robert 2011 p.183).
In the context of power negotiation, experts in the school setup can exercise an upward influence. This is with regards to the context aimed at protecting their self-interests. In this overview, they focus on the issue of controlling the information from the top management to the lower staff in the context that seeks to withhold that in which they feel detrimental to the school structure (Robert 2011 p. 185).

That power in an organizational setup runs in the system of symmetrical and asymmetrical negotiations (Zartman, (2002 p.25). Hence in the context of school setup power streams in the context that highlights various patterns aimed at elevating the school administration and consequently bringing the best services in the school setup outstanding performances of the students in the school.
