Factor 4: Rational Thought process
Clarifying problems (4)
The organization had been faced with the issue of marketing and exploring newer grounds in regard to the clientele. I tried explaining to my bosses and the general manager why it had been hard to reach our goals by clarifying to them the major impediments that had halted our initial plans.
Evaluation alternatives (4)
I presented to the management a report where I compared the plans that we were working on and those that we intended to pursue in an effort of reaching out to a wider clientele.
General Solutions (2)
I will research widely and introduce new techniques as well as consulting my colleagues in the department so as to come up with the best solutions.
Testing ideas (1)
I am not always keen on putting to test abstract ideas into action but now, I know that these are the ideas that lead to innovations. Family experience- I have made major investments and saving decisions as a measure to safeguard my future as well as the future of my family.
Social experience- I have always responded to experiences in an appropriate manner depending on who I am engaged with at every instance. Strategy- Remind myself that an interview is just like any other life experience and choose to focus on the job and the fruits it’s going to bear and not the challenge
Incidents where I handled stress well
- I had been given a report to do and needed to present it in the shortest time possible. It did not matter that I had a few hours to do it but I managed and handed it in on time.
- I was requested to do a presentation that I had not prepared for but I managed to do it and was commended for a job well done.
