Vocabulary Game for Children above 10 years of age
Time required is 40 Minutes
Scrambled Words in Flash Cards
Playing method
Experience
When the game was assigned to Indian students, they showed good improvement. The requirements for the game are only few paper pieces and markers, management of time and a group of cheering JUDGES. The teacher may coordinate the game tactfully, or else the spirit loses. Words can be chosen from the teaching content. Here, I have randomly picked some. The common problem a teacher may encounter is, the difficulty in choosing the best combination of words. Students may ask questions during the first set, and as they get familiar with the game, teacher’s role diminishes.
