- Software Options
- Budgeting Planner: Amadeus Ticketing Services allows its users to extract all the data that indicate ticketing sales for all ticketed and unticketed air bookings. This makes it easier to measure sales, budgeting and productivity with the use of excel document that is generated by tool (Ticketing Analysis Reports, 2014)
- Mobile Booking:The Amadeus CRS software is used with a business model that has a booking fee and transaction model base. The software has two operational applications for Quantas and British Airways with built-in expertise to allow for both mobile and online booking (TPF Scoop Archives, 2013)
- Ticketing Services: The Amadeus ticketing homepage that operates on the CRS software has an option for the printing of all online and mobile operated tickets. This is also made possible through the automatic response that sends ticket information to emails in excel format for printing (Ticketing Analysis Reports, 2014).
- The principal service the customer ticketing is the Amadeus Altéa Customer Management System (CMS), which is a software suite that addresses the airlines' reservations and sales (Amadeus Altea Suite, 2013).
- Basic Price: Amadeus invested €257 millionfor the software design and development (Amadeus 2009 results, 2010)
- Individualized Services: The Amadeus iQCX Ticketing which is a Web-based application automates all the aspects of the ticketing process from basic ticketing to complex split tickets and exchanges. All these are Low Cost Services (LCC) (Amadeus Travel Agencies, 2014)
- Implementation Timeline
- First Install: Low Cost Carriers also have a specific CMS for LCC (Low Cost Carriers) that are adaptive technology used by carriers in Europe and the USA. These provide robust options that are easily adjustable the evolving operational requirements of new systems (Bird Group, 2014)
- Update Schedule: TheAmadeus iQCX Trip Improvement offers Add-on services that are aimed at saving updating time and hence giving customers a better service. Updating can consequently be done whenever necessary
- Customer Service/Support
- Business Support: The Amadeus Webpage has a multi-faceted webpage interface with different hyperlinks that has support information for different businesses with questions and answers data analysis. Amadeus also extends its IT solutions to business with the provision of development of similar systems for hotel chains, rail companies, airport operators as well as ground handling companies (Travel Agent Central, 2010).
