The nine principles of creative leadership represent the practical guideline for its further implementation on the leadership position. The creativeness itself is not only the given characteristic of the person, but also a feature which can be achieved by a group of teammates in the appropriate conditions.
The most significant principles of creative leadership, to my mind, are: everyone has creative potential, can learn to be more creative, creativity thrives in diversity and loves collaboration. The concept that only the certain group of individuals or specific people can be creative is wrongful in its roots. Each and every person has the ability to reveal one’s potential at work and provide creative solutions to everyday issues. The companies should provide the personnel with the possibility to suggest the solutions for the cases they work with everyday, as these people are the ones who know the problem from the inside and have the most experience dealing with it. Creative leader should ensure that each team member plays a significant role in the company and has all opportunities to reveal the creative strengths. (Robinson, 2011) Every person has the ability to become more creative. Its achievement lays in providing different meetings, applying the technics of brainstorming, showing people new horizons and opportunities. The company should provide the appropriate environment for each member, so creativeness would be in the essence of working process. In addition, being a creative leader requires work in diversity and collaboration. People from different genders, backgrounds, educations and views can learn how to communicate, respect, help each other and find a solution in the most complicated situations. The value of such process is that it brings innovations acceptable for different cultures and results in extraordinary decisions, which are powerful enough to change the world.
The above mentioned principles can be used in order to address the CSIP issue greatly. The creative leader should be aware of the problems that arise in the company and be in touch with the personnel. In order to receive the possible solutions and ideas for improvement, different training, meetings, quizzes of workers should be held. In order to make people reveal own creativeness, the managements should provide enough freedom at the workplace along with the board of suggestions, easy way of forwarding innovative ideas, meet the offers of change willingly. In addition, the creative leader should try to mix different approaches to the problem, ideas, be open to new solutions, which can be done by organizing the mutual project of people of different backgrounds, views and beliefs.
