The government for a long time has been supporting the children. As per a research done at least 49 percent of the people per each house hold gain from government support in different ways like education. The biggest is child support and has been increasing daily (matthew23).
The government lacking to regulate the child assistance policy has its advantages. First the countries income increases significantly since over half of these low incomers spend their money on items leading to good money circulation. On the hand the policy has its disadvantages there is increase in population at a high rate this goes ahead to affect even the tax since the tax relieve increases with increase in children which may affect the GDP by 200 percent as the researchers predict( Welfare 8).
This in return demotivates people to further their education so as to be able to take care of their families. This has its goodness which is they in some way help and contributes to the country’s economy as they work. But on the other side it leads to increase in unskilled laborers which may lead to increase in level of poverty(Cbpp 65).
Some of the states like Ottawa have come up with the rule that each child gets four years of assistant which is enough for them to have got a degree or take up a trade .This will help the government to be able to fund more children but still curb the population as the funds are limited.
In a union address by the president the government came with ways to help the low incomes and especially single parents and youth. The government came with a plan to create more jobs this is by them setting up several public investments and also reforms like investing in clean energy and manufacturing which in return will help them to get good wages from subsidized and transitional jobs.
