Introduction
I have always enjoyed thinking of ideas and solutions to create innovative, fresh products that could significantly ease our daily lives. It is because of this that I recently engaged in a comprehensive research process seeking to come up with a solution for a little issue that I have overheard many people talking about.
Most people when travelling love to carry snacks and small beverages in their back packs. Unfortunately the shelf life of most of these snacks and beverages is limited to only a couple of days and most of them go bad after the expiry of this shelf life. I have come up with an idea that could significantly solve this problem.
My proposal involves the production of small back pack electric refrigerator. I have worked very hard for the last four months to acquire knowledge and the skills needed to actualize this project and make it a reality.
My research indicates that a state of the art effective technological tool is required for this device and in regard to this; I plan to use Peltier TEC which is a thermal cooler. My device will also be fully insulated, waterproof and will have an adjustable thermostat. In regard to the battery, I plan to use one which can not only be charged by electricity but also by solar power. My device will also be environmentally friendly because there will be absolutely no emission of CFC’s.
Since this a back bag, refrigerator, size is a very important aspect and I regard to this, my proposed device will roughly be the size of car battery. Because it is made of relatively light materials (aluminum and poly styrene), it will not be heavy and it will thus be possible to carry it on back bag.
I have also conducted research on my promotion and marketing options for the product. I have concluded that the most effective promotion and marketing strategy will be through electronic media by using electronic media, specifically through social media. Over time, I have managed to assemble a very large network or social circle using a variety of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I believe that I will be able to penetrate this network using the mentioned sites and pitch my product. I also plan to make frequent seminars to science fairs and to further promote and market my product.
I don’t expect much competition seeing that my device is the first of its kind within my locality. I price at a relatively fair amount so as to encourage customers to buy my product. I will also provide product warranty for the device. I hope that this device will ease our travelling worries that many people face and that are brought about by the high proneness of food to perishing.
