The following professional portfolio places emphasis on three major IBMS competencies, with concern for how I encountered and managed them during my internship within the Finance Department at the Ministry of the Interior, Qatar. The three IBMS competences of concern include:
Inter-cultural competence
Planning and organizing competence
Process of graduation and professionalism competence.
The STARR Method:
The STARR Method is useful in considering each of these competencies, by evaluating the situation, task involved, actions taken, results demonstrated, and reflection on outcome.

Minutes of budget department meeting with strategic and planning department
Attendance: Supervisor of the Budget Department, and their team, Director of Strategy Department and their Engineering Specialists
In the beginning of the meeting the current project and completed project report from the Director of Strategy Department it was addressed.
Secondly, the Budget Department shared their indicators of budgetary success, including a complete budget evaluation; they report that it has been observed that there is an obligation failure to pay the remaining balance on the contract.
However, engineers and specialists from the Strategy Department confirmed that the payments rate in their department is 100%.
After an open discussion about the case, a recommendation was made, and agreed on by both departments regarding the need to combine system design so that follow up is corradiated between departments. .
In addition, there is need for increased communication between the department, in the form of formal reports and active reporting, on a regular basis.
Finally, it has been determined that next week meeting, on May 4th, will be used to discuss further possibilities of the recommendation based on the suggestions of the IT department specialist.
