The current situation that the men are faced with is the idea that the number of women currently who do not want to get married is on the rise. As time passes, our women are finding it so hard to settle down as wives and be in a family. We also have the rise of single mothers who have the child, but does not want to involve the father in the whole parenting thing (Astell, 2015). This is creating instability in the family tree. There is the number of factors which have resulted in leading this situation and have been discussed in this paper. One of the main reasons is the idea of careers; most women have focused a lot on their career hence the end up feeling that if they are married and settled this will interfere with their career goals (Ellsberg et al., 2015). As a result of this, the women end up not getting married. Also, another issue is the self-realization of the woman that they are equal to man, hence some women feel that their involvement with men by getting married is like they are submitting to be under the man hence this result to some of the decisions of no marriage for them (Pateman,2014). A lot of things changed a lot over the past few decades; women do not need a ring for them to procreate. There have been significant developments as to why our women do not want to get married. There are so many ways that are there for them to have babies for example sperm donors, adoption of babies and many more ways which the women are using so as to have babies hence the tend to lack the need of a man (McGoldrick, 2015).Finally, the lack of trust in men. Most women are finding it so hard to trust men and by the look of things you cannot blame them. Trusting the men to be loyal to men is like leaving a cat with a bowl of milk and expecting it not to drink (Ormand, 2014). Due to this reason most women tend to avoid all the relationship dramas and remain single which gives them peace.
Conclusively the rate at which the number of women opting not to get married increase day after day and this is not a good thing to be happening because of the loss of the main purpose of a family.
