Part One
The worldview refers to a theory of the world which is used understand life. In other words, worldview refers to a mental model of reality that provided answers to various life questions through providing a framework of attitudes and ideas about life, ourselves and the world. Therefore, it creates a comprehensive system of beliefs.
Part Two
Question One
According to Genesis (1:1-2), the bible accounts that God created earth and heaven. However, there was no life yet. The bible further acknowledges that God created all that is on earth through the account of creation, as detailed in Genesis 1, in six days. In the biblical account, plants and animals that exist on earth gained life through God’s word. However, God brought life in human by breathing his breath in the clay He molded to give it life. As such, the source of life on earth and in heaven is God Almighty.
Question Two
Human, unlike animals, is created in the image and the likeness of God. In addition, human got their life through God act of breathing life into them. In addition, God gave the humans the dominion over all animals and plants and everything in his creation. To be human, it means bearing the image and the likeness of God. Furthermore, when man sinned, God sent his only son to give salvation to man. Therefore, it is evident that man was the ultimate creation, therefore, man is important than animals.
Question Three
According to Psalm (8:3-4), God did not create humans because He had to neither did He create Human because He needed them. God created human being out of love. According to Jeremiah (31:3), God loved human before he created them. According to 1 John (4:8), God is understood to be love. Therefore, through this eternal love for humans and his masterly creativity, God created humans so that they can share and enjoy what God is and what he has created. Second, humans are part of God eternal plan. Human exists to share and enjoy what God is; therefore, they exist to fellowship with God. Third, God created all things and for Him as noted in Colossians 1:16. As a result, this observation strengthens the idea that He created human to fellowship in Him.
Questions Four
James (4:17) argues that it is a sin to know the right thing but end up doing the right think. From the understanding, God gives humans the freedom to choose the course of their action. The thought is developed from the Book of genesis in the garden of Aden where God forbid humans not to eat any fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden. Upon eating, Man would now tell right from wrong thus man chooses the course of action based on the fact that he is aware of right and wrong. In the book of Isaiah (5:20), God has cursed anyone that calls evil good and good evil. Therefore, in choosing not to do the right thing, one will, therefore, be understood to be in favor of calling evil good making such a person to be under God’s curse. As a result, human should choose the right way which is doing according to God’s word and using their ability tell right from wrong to do the right thing.
Question Five
Thessalonians 4:16 provides that there will be life after death for those that died in Christ. A similar view is shared in Corinthians 15:50-57 and John 11:25. However, the righteous will arise to join Jesus in heaven where they will live with him forever while the wicked will experience the wrath of God since they will be thrown into a burning furnace. The evil will be subjected to a resurrection of condemnation John 5:28, 29. Furthermore, the wicked will be subjected to the second death since they will be in hell which will be cast into a fiery lake of burning sulfur which will be the second death (Revelation 20:14) thus affirming there will be life after death.
Part Three
Relationship with Others
According to the second commandment, God expects everyone to love their neighbor as they love themselves (Mark 12:30-31: Leviticus 19:9-18). Through this commandment, God expects everyone to care for one another as they would care for themselves. As such, one must invest in creating fulfilling relationships with others that are meant to make other people grow and appreciate life as one would want others to do for him. Consequently, one should do what he would like to be done to him. Through this, harmony is attained.
Voting In an Election
People should expect to mourn when the evil are in charge (Proverbs 29:2). Therefore, when choosing a preferred candidate, one should consider examining their history to identify wrongs that they may have perpetrated earlier. Although one may not know all the little details about a person life, there are issues that are identifiable and one should ensure those that have done wrong to the society, such as land grabbers, corrupt, office abusers, never get to power. If I vote for such persons, I will be contributing to installing an evil person in authority who will make the people mourn. In addition, I will be cursed since I was aware of what I am doing is wrong and still went ahead and did it.
