Question 2
On the street, a police officer uses discretion mostly when deciding whether to draw and shoot a gun. This is because they have to exercise caution to ensure his or her safety and that of the public when trying to contain a suspect who is not known whether he or she is armed. Safety is the priority here. It does not depend on the area’s demography. The decision in this instance has to be accurate, and shooting can only occur if the suspect is armed and the public or the officer is in danger.
Question 3
Police officers are required to uphold the law at all times without any favor. In such circumstance, I will have to report the officer for driving while drunk since he endangers the lives of other motorists and even his own life. Already the officer is in the know that such behavior is punishable by law. It might be that the officer is fond of driving while drunk and the best way to stop this could be charging him. This is not only for his safety but all motorists as well.
