Throughout my life, I have always endeavored to excel in what I do, by developing my current skills, molding them and perfecting into an achievement worthy of praise. There is never enough knowledge one can gather, there is always something new to be learned and thus, as they say, there is always room for improvement, no matter how skilled a person is in his field of expertise. Therefore, for personal as well as professional reasons, I believe I am one of the most suitable candidates to attend this signature class, because it is my opinion that perfecting my skills of public speaking and networking in connection with the company brand will make me a better asset to this bank.
I graduated from college last year, which from a certain perspective might make me a person who is at the threshold of his career, still inexperienced in the financial field work, despite the fact that I had numerous courses during college, preparing me for my profession of choice. Still, nothing can be compared to specific training, like the one that is offered to us, now. I feel that this class will do so much more than merely train me to become an assistant manager. This is a highly demanding position, as the person in charge needs to be at his best on a daily basis, overseeing his department, and making sure that the people are motivated and encouraged to give their best every single day, without exception. This person needs to be social and approachable, easy going yet authoritative, and these are all skills that a person who is in possession of them, needs to have them perfected. I believe that I have all the necessary skills to be this person responsible for the functioning of one part of the bank.
In addition, I believe I am in possession of all the prerequisites for this class, which make me one of the best candidates. I have a Bachelor’s degree, without which I would not be hired in the first place. Secondly, I already gave a presentation in front of my boss before, meaning that I am familiar with how a professional, formal presentation is supposed to look like. Still, as I already mentioned, since there is always room for improvement, I am more than willing to develop myself and my skills even further, so I can be of even more benefit to this bank. Thirdly, during high school and college, I participated in competitions with a team, so I know what it means having to use your social skills to create the best outcome.
The job of an assistant manager is demanding, but I see it as a step up in my professional development. As such, I need to have my social skills and presentation abilities at a perfect level, so that I can continue to climb the professional ladder and eventually, reach an even higher position. I consider myself a highly capable person, who does not retract from hard work, and these additional classes may turn out to be an additional time consuming activity, but I am more than willing to be a part of it, because I know how much it will benefit me, and this bank. Simultaneously, this class may help me in creating professional connections with other people, which will in turn, help me in developing my business skills and the bank’s overall field of coverage.
Thus, I see myself as a perfect candidate for this class, because I am young and willing to learn, capable of soaking up huge amount of knowledge and skills, in addition to the ones I am already in possession of. Also, I believe that by helping me develop my skills as an assistant manager, the bank will be investing time and effort in developing their own business, because having been given the chance to work for such a renowned bank, you can be certain that I will do my best to handle all situations professionally.
