In this essay, we are going to speak about physical abuse to children. The topic under discussion requires all the seriousness and attention. Children that are influence by this problem should need attention and help. We are going to discuss the ways of identification physical abuse and the circumstances under which a child is in a great risk of being abused.
There is a variety of reasons that can provoke and lead to child abuse. There are many reasons, which stimulate parents to abuse such as social, emotional, and psychological problems. In addition, it is hard to differentiate one kind of the abuse children may experience from their parents. Often, there is a variety of multiple kinds of abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, and family violence (‘Defines And Describes The Different Types Of Child Abuse’).
Physical abuse was usual aspect of family life in Australia. It took time to understand the seriousness of the issue. It became an epidemic disaster. Nevertheless, today Australia changed its view. Still, there is a great problem in taking care and protecting of children under abuse. Australia is one of the leading countries that failed to make children abuse illegal (‘Defines And Describes The Different Types Of Child Abuse’).
Parents who are most likely to abuse their children are emotionally unstable, aggressive, provide signs of violent behavior, have a lack of social interaction. They can be also victims of children abuse in the past, which led them to re-victimization (‘Defines And Describes The Different Types Of Child Abuse’).
Victims of children abuse are not likely to be differentiated by sex (it is equal for boys and girls). Children under physical abuse can hardly relate to their friends. They are always in stressful state of mind because of constant threat. They can be aggressive to other adults, as they expect nothing but harm of them (under the influence of parents’ behavior). They also may have problems with physical development, stress, depression, achievements at school, etc.
