The Africans in the magazine are portrayed dressed in costumes that show that the culture of the non-Whites has not evolved and no sign that it will progress any time soon. This to me seems ethnocentric and is just a stigma and the global village that we live in, culture has improved in every region and blacks have been seen embracing the culture of the whites. Africans can overcome the race prejudice as it is not grounded and progress is not linked to skin color. Lack of facilities like education and electricity by the blacks is due to the differences of the regions we occupy. Lutz and Collins chose methods of collecting data in a setting that takes into account the cultural diversity that is anticipated by the world’s population.
