Direct Mail Postcard
The front side of the direct mail postcard will have graphics that will indicate to the customer the products that City Wonderland is selling. The graphics will therefore be based on clothing and household items. The graphics are important because the customer can tell at first glance what the company is selling. The graphics that I will need for the postcard are as shown below.
The front side will also include the headline “Great Purchases for Great Discounts”. The discounts offered on the products should be indicated boldly on the postcard. The discount offered per item purchased is 20%. There is an additional 5% discount offered if a person refers another person to the company’s website, and their referrals make actual purchases. The company logo will also be included on the front side of the postcard. The company logo is as shown below.
The back side of the postcard will contain details that will be specific to either the left side or the right side. The left side will contain a description of the offers that will be available to the consumers. The will be an explanation about the discounts on the products, and the promotion period. The left side will also the company’s information such as the website: citywonderland.com. There will also be information about the products that the company sells. There will also be instructions telling the recipients of the postcards on how to register to the website and place their orders. The website contains images and prices of all the items that City Wonderland sells. The left side of the postcard will also include ways of contacting me. I will include the company’s phone number and the website address.
The right side at the back of the post card will contain the company’s name and address at the top. The name is City Wonderland. The address is: 280W 7th Avenue, NYC, NY10269. The right side will also contain a space for fixing the stamp, and another space will be required in the middle for the mailing panel.
