Most of the issues affecting the societal values and norms are triggered by the fact that, the influential controversies constantly increase. As such, the ethical dilemmas are observed based on the boundaries that are created concerning the factors and rights of specific approaches. This paper covers a discussion on the narrative of a real experience I have had in the workplace and an analysis of the narrative based on the key concepts selected.
Real Experience
In the workplace, I have had and experienced several acts from my employer that counter relates to the organizational communication. For example, since the theory critically analyzes the activities of communication and skills that are used within the firms, for the production level to increase, I have had an experience linking me to the theory. One of the appraisal days in our company, the Data Line Center, I was expecting so much from my employer and the control at which the person was showing me on how to perform the designated duties was alarming. As the theory spells out, in Taylorism, most of the control and authority belongs to the employer. I have been treated under this management and the philosophical approach, which has made me have specific requirements regarding my work place. For example, my boss believes in analyzing the situation as he is in control, and providing basic elements that will guide through the same approach. Also, the employer is laying the argument of behavior management on the personality issues and effects as per the reinforcement of several motivators, within the specific boundaries. In most cases, whenever I perform well, the employer appraises me and awards me with a promotion, however, when I register a down fall, there are demotions and throughout review on my job applications, threatening my skills and abilities within the same approach.
Analysis of the Narrative Based on the Key Concept
The key concept of my theory and experience is socio psychological approach under the theory of organizational communication (Putnam, 2006). When discussing about this approach, some of the issues that are apprehended depend on the notion of control and supervision that have been viewed from the employer’s authority. When analyzing the socio- psychological theory, as one of the classical theories used in the organization by my employer, some as aspects are automatically spelt out. The approaches include the intense probabilities of effective communication, behavior change and motivators or reinforces used. The societal setting as well as behaviors within the psychological recognition immensely depends on the fact that, specific authority guides the emulation of resources used within the organizations.
As observed from the case analysis above, I have been promoted whenever I do a desired and good deed in the company by my employer, and my personality has always been on the desiring end, which is something I notably agree and admire. However, the same approach applies to when I decide to fall and become lazy in terms of performing my duties in the work place. The point is any apprehended behavior when discussing and analyzing the behavioral theory, is subjected to the fact that there are specific rules and regulations that should be observed. The same theory have a theoretical approach concerning self-interest; in that, if the speaker is able to make one feel more reliable and accommodative, the subject matter should be apprehended on the basic of respect and psychological innovations.
In addition, reinforcing and subjecting the same issues have been affirmed based on the environmental approaches and factors that affect the management skills and abilities. In other words, it is accurate to consider and affirm the fact that, behavioral theory has a foundation of the cognitive approach in it, in that, the individual is subjected to the thinking that then reinforces the issues that affect the organizational skills and abilities. As such, it is relevant to subject and motivate the additional values of persons in any work place, through consistently analyzing their behavior change and rewarding. The technique has worked in several firms and has been helpful given that the measures apply throughout the process.
The main observation made from the socio- psychological communication approach is that the major issues of communication are always located within the cognition of an individual, affecting their emotions and personal relevance. Therefore, the approach subjects skills and abilities that should be used within the work station per the alignment and responsibilities built in the same technique. Also, consequently alarming and managing or the personalities of people through team building process have helped in the sharpening of the skills and their abilities. According to this approach, the managers should always treat their employers with justice as they hold the production level and determine the increase of sales within the organizations.
In conclusion, several alignments and behaviors within an organization are viewed on the basics of trust and personalities. Therefore, whenever an individual is reluctant to performing specific duties that should apparently be driven by their skills, the same chapter is apprehended on the specific grounds and measures of motivations, which are affirmed within the firms.
