Introduction
The Bachelor of Science in nursing is 4-year academic degree that offers the principles of nursing. A student is eligible to become a registered nurse after passing a licensing examination (Dept. U. S Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2010).
The reasons for joining the bachelor’s degree is that it has a good and promising career advancement and one can bargain for a higher salary option. The career gives one the opportunity to work professionally in positions such as teaching, consulting, administrative and research (Dept. U. S Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2010).
Strengths
I am honest, ambitious, hardworking, always keen to learn, dedicated and self- driven person. I believe I am a sufficiently intelligent person who likes to take responsibility and carry tasks through to a close with minimum supervision.
Weaknesses
I set very high standards for myself, which sometimes seems difficult to achieve especially when working with people who do not have the same set of standards as mine. I also focus my attention on caring about other people, making me to focus less on myself.
List of hobbies
I like listening to inspirational music. I like dealing with computers and the internet because of the vast technology it offers. It is also easy to access a lot of information anytime regarding my area of study.
Accomplishments
I have acquired more skills in the area of nursing. I have been able to deal with people from all lifestyles in a more humane way, which has made me a better, more trustworthy and dependable person. The career has enabled me to communicate more clearly with other people that I interact with on a daily basis.
Other information pertinent to this application
I have an interest and I am very passionate about nursing. My grades are good and they have made me eligible to join the bachelors program.
